WHAT WE BELIEVE

♥  THE BIBLE

The Bible is the very Word of God, consisting of 66 Books, 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament.  It was given by verbal inspiration of God, every word is to be taken as our plenary (absolute) authority, completely trustworthy in every word.  1 Tim 3:16-17.  It is to be understood literally, rightly divided, 2 Tim 2:15, Eph 2:7, 11-13, and as instructed, to be studied  as “the Holy Ghost what teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual”  1 Cor 2:13.  2 Peter 1:21.  The Bible is preserved by God Himself according to Psalm 12:6-7, in the multiplicity of accurate copies made by faithful bible believers,  through the ages.   The 1611 Authorised King James Bible as translated from the Textus Receptus (Majority Text), and is complete and accurate translation of God’s Word in the English language.

♥  GOD

The eternal TRINITY.   1 John 5:7.   There is ONE God eternally existing in three persons in the family of God, known as the GODHEAD, being God the Father, the God the Son, (the Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of God, Rev 19:13)  and God the Holy Spirit.  Deut 6:4,  1 Tim 2:5, Eph 4:4-6, 2 Cor 13:14.

♥  THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

The eternal DEITY, virgin birth, vicarious death, and spotless humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Luke 1:35, Phil 2:6-9, Rom 1:3-4.

♥  TOTAL DEPRAVITY OF MAN.

Mankind is born with the sinful nature, inherited from Adam, totally depraved without any means of changing this nature by his own “good” or religious works.  Man is under the judgement of God, unfit for any relationship with a Holy God,   TO BE CONTINUED SHORTLY!  ….
